We only stayed a short time in Singapore as it was our stepping stone into mainland Asia. Even so we loved every second and it is definitely a place that we will be returning to in the future.

We stayed in a brand new hotel which was in the middle of China Town and Little India and got an amazing deal on the internet for our few nights that we were there.

On our first night, after getting on the super efficient Metro to our hotel from the airport, we headed straight out to explore what Little India had to offer.

Little India

We wondered around what we can only describe as an area that looked exactly like India. We were surrounded by Indians, Indian shops, restaurants, mithai shops and even loud bollywood music! We even stopped to have some amazing sizzler food at an Indian hawker restaurant on the corner of a bustling street before calling it a night.
